McLachlin TIES for 42nd at eds byron nelson championship

IRVING, Texas - Parker McLachlin shot 5-over par 285 to finish tied for 42nd at the EDS Byron Nelson Championship at the TPC Four Seasons Resort in Irving, Texas. McLachlin’s finish earned him a $22,400 share of the tournament’s $6.4 million purse. He now ranks 94th on the PGA Tour Money List.

McLachlin began the tournament shooting 2-under par 68 on Thursday, and finished the day Friday tied for 5th at 3-under par. McLachlin shot 4-over par 74 par each of the final two days to finish the championship tied for 42nd.

McLachlin is currently in 92nd place in the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup standings with 1,693 points for the 2008 season. He has earned one Top-10 finish and three Top-25 finishes during the 2008 season. This week, McLachlin will tee it up at the Wachovia Championship in Charlotte, N.C.
