WINTER PARK, Fla. – Parker McLachlin is heading back to the PGA TOUR in 2008!

McLachlin shot a final round 72, including a 33 on the back nine, to finish in 11th place at 17-under par at the 2007 PGA Tour National Qualifying Tournament. McLachlin’s six-day total score of 415 was three shots clear of the Top 25 and guarantees him full status on the PGA TOUR in 2008.

McLachlin nearly kept his PGA TOUR card in 2007, banking over $300,000 in the Fall Series to finish 137th on the regular season money list. One of the best putters on Tour, McLachlin earned $627,582 last season, which included a Top-5 finish at The Viking Classic, and a Top-15 finish at the Ginn sur Mer Classic at Tesoro.

At this year’s Q-School final, McLachlin carded rounds of 70-71-68-67-67-72. In the final round, McLachlin opened with a 39 on the front nine, only to come back with a 33 on the back nine to clinch his spot.
